Lagos - The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) has jettisoned the use of the old trade notification system, Trade Alert in the capital market for a more robust notification system called X- Alert, reports Thisday.
The new system provide investors with details of transactions on an investment account via text messages on mobile phones or e-mails to the recipient’s box.
Oscar Onyema, Chief Executive Officer of the NSE,,said the new system offers convenient and easy monitoring of all accounts.
The new system, he said,will also reduce cost implications to both buyers and sellers.
