Lagos - Total Nigeria Plc on Wednesday announced a turnover of N217.84 billion for the financial year ended Dec. 31, 2012.
This is against the N173.95 billion posted in the comparative period of 2011.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that this was contained in the company's audited result released in Lagos by the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
This represented a growth of 25.23 per cent when compared with the 2011 figure.
The company's profit before tax increased by 21.14 per cent to N7.09 billion against the N5.86 billion declared in 2011.
Also, its profit after tax stood at N4.67 billion in contrast with N3.81 billion posted in the preceding period of 2011, an increase of 22.49 per cent.
Its total assets stood at N76.07billion against N58.72 billion recorded in 2011, representing an increase of 29.54 per cent.
The company is also proposing a dividend of N8 compared with N7 paid in the 2011, indicating an increase of 14.28 per cent.
Total Nigeria had for the three years running paid increased dividend to its shareholders as in year 2010.
It paid a dividend of N6 compared to N7 in the year 2011 end; showing an increase in dividend of 17 per cent.
