Enugu- States that benefitted from the World Bank financial intervention have been warned against mismanaging the funds
Marie Francoise Marie-Nelly, World Bank Country Director, gave the warning at the Country Performance Portfolio Review (CPPR) meeting for South-south and South-east states in Enugu.
She stated that there would be zero-tolerance for poor use of the resources, reports Peoples Daily.
She called for the judicious use of the funds, maintaining that the money should be spent on programmes that will reduce poverty in these states.
She equally called for better management of the nation’s resources in order to further improve the living conditions of the people
