American tech giant rewards Nigeria partners

Lagos – Microsoft, the American technology firm, has rewarded its Nigerian partners for enhancing the adoption of its solutions in the local market.

The maiden edition of its Partner’s Awards has been held in Lagos, where Signal Alliance and MainOne have emerged the major winners.

The awards, which is to recognize partners who have excelled in delivering Microsoft solutions in the 2016 fiscal year spanning July 2015 through to June 2016, have the objective of celebrating partner’s success in the area of sales excellence, customer experience excellence and cloud transformation.

“We are rewarding our partners for their level of dedication and competencies over the last fiscal year and their support in driving our digital transformation agenda in the country,’’ Oluwawemimo Adeniyi Director, Small, Midmarket Solutions and Partners at Microsoft Nigeria, said during her welcome address.

Awawu Olumide –Sojinrin, Marketing and Operations Director for Microsoft Nigeria, who made the closing remark, expressed excitement at rewarding the partners.

We are creating platforms for people to do more.” She then thanked the Partners for their support and urged them all to do more in Fiscal Year 2017.
