As the presidency slouches towards a momentus finale
You are no doubt aware of the abysmal level to which the leadership of our great Country under Mr President and the Ruling Party have reduced governance to, as a result of which every Nigerian have no certain of Kaiwa Gobe Da labari by the day. All efforts of critical mind and well-wishers of the Country to offer advice remain always unheeded. The Country’s leadership has become cabalised to the extent that while Nigerians are aware that they have a President, they are at the same time at a loss as to who governs their Country, Mr President has failed to lead by example. Instead, he has left us with the conventional wisdom that people cannot succeed in life unless they are ruthless and unprincipled. The Government is characterized by corruption and impunity. Critical National Institutions that unify and wield Nigerians together have been dragged into politics, contrary to wise counsel and political correctness.

No administration has used religion and ethnicity to divide Nigerians more than the current administration, and we know the ultimate test of any leader is looking at what has remained after he is gone. The challenge before Nigerians today, in order to secure a new lease of life therefore, is how to get out this inept leadership that has neither allure nor inspiration, in its place, Nigerians deserve not just a good President, good governors, and other political office holders, but true and exemplary leaders. The presidential gallivanting, the executive walkabout and the dollar spree even as the naira, the ultimate symbol of national sovereignty, was tumbling in the market would have been unnecessary if Mr President had done the needful. At the onset of his presidency, he had at his beck and call the active base of the traditional activists and progressive politicos who fought a relentless and slogging campaign to validate his presidency.
I pray that your mind and those of other Patriots would also be illuminated with truth so that you may also act wisely and accordingly, I also wish to congratulate our new president-elect. May the Almighty Allah give him courage, talent and agility to derive the enemy of Nigerians’ progress crazy. This comes with the renewed assurances of my highest consideration and personal respect.
