"Africa needs a new type of citizen,a dedicated, honest, modest, informed man.A man  who abhors greed and detests vanity. A new type of man whose humility is his strength and whose integrity is his greatness". Kwame Nkrumah

There is a fellow compatriot who dwells in a country where the culture of 'stealing is not corruption' reigns supreme in the corridors of power. He lives a decent life devoid of corrupt practices even though was at the helm of affairs in different capacities. He is such a nice person that just like the late Malam Aminu Kano,he is too good to be a Nigerian.

Thank God that General Muhammadu Buhari is a Nigerian. We are delighted that he is a skillful player of honesty, modesty ,humility and dedication. It is so pleasing that he is a great fighter against corruption, injustice, kleptomania and unjingoism. He has smartly taught us that amassing ill gotten wealth is neither the beginning nor the end of joy, greatness, civilization for, real joy, greatness, civilization are embedded in enduring and well articulated integrity. He is a powerful phenomenon and possesses hard earned attributes of the hope of the hopeless, the defence of the defenceless and the voice of the voiceless.

Currently,he is the beautiful bride of the time, generating the central theme of Nigeria's political discussions. The mass media, social media, groups of people, even the powers that be are throwing their attention to him as the predominant source of political news, opinions, blackmailing, panicking, you name them.

The presidential flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC)in 2015 has set in motion another political battle to rid the nation of decadence.General Muhammadu Buhari with his artillery of change pose a big threat to the established order that to conquer them, billions of naira have been budgeted. It is clear that his opponents are faced with the reality of a blowing wind of change. But billions of naira apart, Buhari's amalgamated forces of proven honesty, integrity, transparency, modesty and jingoism with the maximum backing of bridge builders such as Tinubus, Fasholas, Amaechis, Oshiomoles, Okorochas, Isiahs etc are equal to the task.

They have been cajoling for nationwide support to dethrone the reactionary forces to empower the downtrodden, the oppressed, the have nots, the deprived, the wretched of the earth. These are Buhari's bonafide friends who live in absolute misery, despair, squalor and a general feeling of pessimism because they have lost contact with the leadership that can guarantee their basic hopes and dreams. His unflinching love and passion for the masses are deeply rooted in his heart thus, recognizing their untold hardships, afflictions and sharing the pains with them.

Do you need anybody to remind you that our beloved country is on the brink of a precipice?Do you need somebody to show the right channel of overcoming Nigeria's predicament? For the meantime,Buhari is the viable alternative as he is amazingly endowed with the political will to attack the decadent status quo which does not deserve a befitting place in our quest for salvation. If you are ignorant of the phrase 'political will' a vote for Buhari will produce the meaning and makes the difference very clear.

We don't need to be told that Buhari's stubborn insistence for a positive change coupled with his unquestionable character have earned him the wrath of the undesirable democrats who busy themselves deploying politically evil designs to frustrate his  struggle. If they like, let their idiosyncracy continue branding him a religious fanatic, let them persistently descend on him and defame his character. The fact remains that he firmly stands confident and focused in the crucial battle of installing 'a masses oriented government'to borrow the revolutionary words of Aminu Kano.

Interestingly,Buhari does not need the services of the opportunists and sycophants on how to make the best use of power. The power Buhari strives to capture will shift emphasis from transferring wealth to the tiny few, from convention to revolt. The power will be at a war against corruption, the power that will usher in peace as 'not the absence of noise but the presence of justice' to borrow Rev.Jessy Jackson's philosophy.

We can read Buhari's mind and actions to fix them in their proper perspective. He strives not to let the nation down until victory is achieved. The first victory saw him winning the APC ticket even though he was powerless in the naira perspective. The second victory was when his antagonists were on the verge of launching rigorous assaults against him if he had fielded Muslim running mate.

Very soon, the third and the greatest victory is reserved till February next year.Even if no one believes ,God has concluded His arrangement for a political miracle when the wind of change must clear the way for Buhari.
