Political crises in Nigeria

What and how can Nigerians see these acts by these politicians and term it as ''Change'' hmmm, I seriously wonder what people see change as.

Few days ago, the former military and civilian president in person of general Olusegun Obasanjo, torn his party's membership card. Many people applauding him for dumping his party PDP for another party best to him, as he acclaimed; 'he has seen the light' many loyalist to him said, yes, he is for change.

PDP he formed and ruled Nigeria with for good eight years, if that was not okay, he further started proceedings for third term in office, which could have seen him ruling for good 12 years as a civilian not to talk of the military reign. Hmmm, wonders indeed.

He was further stopped from his ambitious quest for leadership. If that was not enough, same man, was still at the background controlling the leadership of the present government! What a man. PDP as a failure, as many have said; what of the man behind them for more than ten to 15 years? Tearing his party's membership card! Is that a patriotic act! If at all he wants to leave?

Criticizing and accusing the military for playing and working on the side of the government in the election postponement saga! Is that patriotic? We were told that he did not attend the meeting where the matter was discussed before the postponement! Is that patriotic? We are meant to understand that if you do money ritual and you swim in blood money, that when you finally repent; what you do is to give back what belongs to the devil to devil. When he has concluded that he is through with them(PDP)!

We equally feel that the general should return all he had acquired under their platform, then can we consider him as a changed man. Like wise, all the politicians that has all failed under the platform of PDP and have decided to form another set of party for their own favor should equally do same.

Our eyes and ears are all opened, the time for change has come, but people we expected to turn-up and context for the presidential post have all turned away, reasons we cannot tell if it is fear or what. The forthcoming elections are just recycled candidates, therefore, we see no change in that. Come clean general OBJ and we will see it, stop looking for people to control.

God bless!
