2 men divorce wives for voting APC

Kaduna - The two middle age men who are supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State have divorced their wives for choosing to vote for candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the last general elections, reports Leadership.

The incident happened in the Kaninkon community in Jema’a Local government Area of the state.

The men were angry with their wives for going against their wish to vote for the candidates of the PDP in the elections.

The community is predominantly a PDP stronghold in the state.

Aside the two men, another young man sent his aged mother out of his house because she voted for APC in the last election.

The APC won the presidential, governorship and National Assembly elections in the state.

The party equally won majority of the seats in the state House of Assembly elections.
