2015 elections will not be rescheduled

Kano - The Director General of the National Intelligence Agency, Ayodele Oke assured the International Community that the upcoming elections would take place, as scheduled on the 28th of March and the 11th of April, Naij reported.

Oke, speaking at the Atlantic Council in Washington D.C, declared that the Federal Government had overcome the challenges postponed the elections.

Oke further stated that one reason for the postponement was that INEC were behind in their distribution of required voter identification cards.

He went on to assure that the Federal Government had the capacity of armed forces to fight insurgents. "Before 28th March, no town or village will be under the control of Boko Haram", he said.
