Osogbo - Three people were killed on Sunday in Ile-Ife, Osun State following violent clashes between supporters of All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in several neighbourhoods in the town, reports The Sun
Sunday’s clash was a spillover of the hostility generated by the conduct of Saturday’s House of Assembly elections in the state.
Weapons such as guns, cutlasses, knives, charms among others were freely used by supporters of both parties.

Although, the identities of the deceased could not be confirmed, it was learnt that two of victims were siblings of a notable politician whose house was also razed during the crisis.
