Lagos - The National Human Rights Commission, (NHRC) on Monday said that up to 50 people had died during Saturday’s election, reports Vanguard
However, the commission, through a statement it issued in Abuja on Monday commended Nigerians for discouraged by operational and logistical problems faced during the polls.
The statement was signed by the Chairman, Governing Council of NHRC, Professor Chidi Odinkalu.

It said that varying acts of violence, which resulted in fatalities were reported in Akwa Ibom, Borno, Bauchi, Edo, Gombe, Lagos, Osun, Rivers, and Yobe states.
