Abuja - The All Progressives Congress (APC) has revealed that political violence and the targeted killing of its members has resulted in the deaths of 55 people in Rivers State, Vanguard reports.
In addition, the party has accused the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies of working with the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to rig elections in the state.

The APC has consequently called on observers to monitor Saturday's governorship and State Assembly elections closely for any irregularities.
Speaking during a press conference in Abuja, APC National Publicity Secretary Alhaji Lai Mohammed revealed that the party has started a petition calling for thorough checks to be conducted on the PDP and its schemes against members of opposition parties in the state.
