Abeokuta - Political parties in Ogun State on Thursday signed a peace accord. on a violence-free election, reports Vanguard.
The peace deal was facilitated by the Ogun State Police Command.
Parties that signed the accord included the All Progressives Congress, APC, People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Social Democratic Party, SDP, Labour Party, LP, and All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, among others.

The parties pledged to abide by the terms and conditions of the peace accord.
Over 70 candidates seeking various political offices as well as chairmen and secretaries of the concerned parties attended the ceremony.
