APC alleges plan by PDP to disrupt Buhari’s rally

2015-01-12 22:30
Ado Ekiti - A plot by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti state to disrupt the campaign rally for Muhammadu Buhari, slated for January 14 in Ado-Ekiti has been uncovered, reports Vanguard.

The plot was uncovered by the  Ekiti State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Taiwo Olatubosun, the state Publicity Secretary of the party, said the PDP plans to use fake soldiers imported from neighbouring countries to unleash terror on APC members and supporters before and during the campaign rally.

The fake soldiers will be mixed with local miscreants to cause the harm.

The miscreants, according to Olatunbosun,  will help identify APC members and their supporters to be attacked at check points.
