APC boosted by Imo community support

Lagos - The All Progressives Congress has received a timely boost ahead of the upcoming general election after the Obazu-Mbieri Community endorsed the re-election bid of Governor, Rochas Okorocha, and his Deputy, Eze Madumere, in Imo State.

This follows an event held at the Obazu Community Grammar School this past weekend.

Madumere attended the event.

Elders assured Madumere of the people's resolve to vote massively for Okorocha and his Deputy and running mate in their re-election bid during gubernatorial elections.

They averred that for about two decades with various government having successive governments, none of the remembered the need to rehabilitate Nkwo Orji-Obazu-Orie Mbieri Road, among other projects, except the government of Okorocha.

They enumerated other areas the government has done well -area of free education, massive infrastructural development, security of life and property and government's belief in tenets of democratic ideals.

The government was hailed for the completion of various socioeconomic projects.

Elders nonetheless reminded Madumere of the need to resuscitate the Obazu Community Grammar School.
