APC challenges Fayose’s victory at Supreme Court

Ado Ekiti - All Progressives Congress (APC) has resolved to proceed to the Supreme Court to challenge the judgment of the Court of Appeal, Abuja which upheld Governor Ayodele Fayose’s victory, reports Vanguard.

The party said the move became necessary as some other salient but fundamental issues were not addressed by the by the judgment.
Taiwo Olatubosun, the party’s Publicity Secretary in Ekiti, said said that though the court ruled in Fayose’s favour, the party was able to prove that security agencies were used to intimidate voters.

He also noted that hat the party succeeded in proving that Fayose was legally impeached in 2006

He urged members to be law-abiding and wait till the party employed all constitutional means to get justice in the matter.
