APC challenges Kashamu’s victory

2015-04-23 15:02

Abeokuta - The All Progressives Congress (APC) has filed a petition against the Senator-elect for Ogun East, Buruji Kashamu at the National Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal in the state, reports Punch.

The petition was filed on Wednesday by the party’s candidate in the election, Dapo Abiodun.

Abiodun in the petition argued that Kashamu was not qualified to contest the election and did not score the highest number of lawful votes as required by law.
