Bauchi - The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State has denied allegations that it collected the sum of N565 million from the state government, reports Peoples Daily.
The money was allegedly handed over to Governor-elect, Barrister Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar .

The party’s state Publicity Secretary, Auwal Jallah, said there was no iota of truth in all the allegations published by online media against the Governor-elect and the members of the transition committee.
He described the story as false, saying it was meant to tarnish the image of the Governor-elect.
Jallah, however, admitted that the government gave the party a token, which is not up to one tenth of the amount quoted in the report.
