Abuja - President Goodluck Jonathan on Friday came under heavy criticism from the All Progressives Congress (APC) for attacking its presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari in all his campaign rallies, reports Information Nigeria
The APC noted that President Jonathan rather than tell Nigerians what he has done for them in the last six years, has been busy pouring diatribe at Buhari.Also read: Jonathan storms Lagos, tackles Buhari, OBJ
The party in a statement by its Presidential Campaign Team said it was disappointed in the the inability of President Jonathan to seize the opportunity of his campaigns to tell Nigerians what he has achieved and what he intends to do differently in his second-term if he wins the February 14 presidential election.
Garba Shehu, Director, Media and Publicity of the APC’s campaign team, said President Jonathan had earlier urged parties and candidates to engage in issues-based campaign, but was surprised that in his campaign outings so far, including those of Enugu and Lagos, the President has been unable to do this.
