Abuja - With less than 10 days to go for the general elections, tension continues as the All Progressives Congress (APC) has attacked the Federal Government (FG) with regards to the election coverage, reports Naij
The APC accused the FG of trying to shut down international coverage, by banning foreign journalist to cover the event.
The presidential campaign organizer, Garba Shehu, stated that, the party was concerned with frustration of international journalists as they are finding it difficult to acquire a visa. Read Also: Buhari rejects riding in bullet-proof jeeps
The organiser explained that, the APC had received about 80 reports of international journalists facing challenges at the ministry of foreign affairs’ office. He argues that the international coverage will prompt transparency and free and fair election.
