APC raises alarm on fake police wanting to unleash mayhem

Lagos - The All Progressives Congress has accused members of the Oodua Peoples Congress of changing into fake police uniform and army uniform to unleash mayhem during the elections, Punch reported.

According to the APC National Public Secretary, Alhaji Mohammed, members of the OPC were seen in the Ikorudu Local Government Area wearing such clothes.

Ex-militants are also said to be in military uniforms and unmarked cars to disrupt voting.

Some irregular incidents have taken place such as the opposition engaging in massive thumb printing as well as purchasing Permanent Voter Cards in some parts of Rivers and the South-East.

The APC has urged all local and international observers to pay close attention to people who are trying to disrupt the flow of the elections.
