The certificate was awarded to the winner of the National Assembly Election.

Olabintan described the result as inconclusive and that INEC were well aware of this, therefor making the announcement of a winner invalid.

He noted that voting failed to take place in 22 polling stations within the region to determine a clear winner.

Olabintan further claimed that INEC had fixed the supplementary election the following day which never took place.
