Lagos - The All Progressives Congress has condemned former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro for saying that its presidential candidate, Muhammmadu Buhari was pelted with stones during his campaign rally in Lagos on Friday, reports National Mirror.
The party described the report has a brazen a lie.
Lai Mohammed, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, noted that there was no where Buhari and his convoy were stoned during th almost two- hour ride from the Palace of the Oba of Lagos to the Teslim Balogun Stadium venue of the rally.Also read: Buhari storms Lagos on Friday
He noted that those who Obanikoro hired to stone Buharil failed to deliver.
He urged the former Minister to seek a refund of whatever money he paid to his hired hands to pelt Buhari with stones.
