Abuja - Bayelsa State Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress has vowed to combat any plots by the Peoples Democratic Party, Independent National Electoral Committee agents or any security agents to rig the upcoming elections, Punch reported.

Leaders made this statement during a protest to the state office of INEC in Yenagoa.
The protest was held to raise awareness against the irregularities that occurred during the recent elections, that in some cases caused delays during the allocation of votes.
A party leader also stated that voters had the right to cast their vote without any fear of being intimidated or having their decision manipulated.
