Port Harcourt - The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that the party will still return to Okrika and hold a rally for its governorship candidate, Dr. Dakuku Peterside, reports ThisDay.
The chairman of the party in Rivers State, Dr. Davis Ikanya, who stated this on Thursday, said that the APC had the right to campaign in Okrika just like the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He condemned the attack on members and supporters of the APC by unidentified gunmen at the rally, describing the PDP as a lawless party.
