Port Harcourt – Two thousand female members of the All Progressive Congress(APC) protested in Rivers state on Monday, reports Vanguard
The women who were marching on Aba road in Port Harcourt, calling for the cancellation of Saturday’s election.
Security agents prevented the women from getting to the state office of the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC).

Protest erupted in Port Harcourt on Saturday, leaving three dead, and a fiercer one on Sunday, as thousand took to the street despite heavy rain to reject election, with the governor calling for cancellation of election in the state.
This comes after Rivers state governor Rotimi Amaechi refused to register and vote.
