This is despite the "vote and go home order" by the Inspector General of Police, Suleiman Abba.

The groups were speaking during an APC women summit to drum support for the party's presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari.

They reasserted their views that they were strongly opposed to any rigging of votes during the upcoming elections.

The party encouraged women to exercise their right to vote, adding that election rigging had always been the cause of violence in the country since 1922.
