APC,PDP blame each other on Oshodi clash

Lagos - The All Progressive Party and the People's Democratic Party have blamed each other over the violent clash in Oshodi, Lagos, DailyIndependent reported.

The early morning violence resulted in two people dying, 14 cars being vandalised and other cars burnt in the disruptive encounter.

Security operatives were called in to restore the tension and violence as traffic took on a standstill because of the battle.

According to APC chieftan, Wole Balogun, members of the PDP were protesting the arrest of their colleague which resulted in a rampage, attacking APC members.

Officials state that security will be tightened to avoid unnecessary deaths in Lagos, although the battle between the two political parties has always been an ongoing thing.
