Enugu - The deputy governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State, Fred Eke Idika on Thursday defected to the Peoples Democratic Party, reports Daily Post.
He defected with over 20 000 of his loyal supporters within and outside Abia.
He stated that his decision to join the PDP was because the party has performed well and that the transformation agenda of President Goodluck Jonathan deserves continuity.

He pledged his support for the PDP’s governorship candidate in the state, Okezie Victor Ikpeazu and other PDP candidates in Abia State.
He described Ikpeazu as the right man to drive the vehicle of development in the state from May 29th, 2015.
