Abuja - The All Progressives Congress governorship candidate in Enugu State, Okey Ezea has denied allegations that he embezzled approximately N400m from the campaign funds of President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari in the state.

The embezzlement is believed by many to be one of the main reasons behind the party's poor showing in the 2015 general elections in Enugu State.

It has also led to an internal crisis within the party in the region.

Ezea however released a financial report citing exactly how the campaign funds were distributed during the election campaign.

He also released this report to the media to bring forward some clarity on how monies were spent and to banish the accusations made against him.
