Abia PDP chieftain rallies votes for Otti

Abuja - People's Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain in Abia State, Chief Tony Akasanya, has urged voters to show their support for All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) governorship candidate Alex Otti in the upcoming governorship elections, Sun News Online reports.

S[eaking during a reception held in honour of Otti, Akasanya described Otti as the only governorship candidate in the state that had the stature to perform the job.

He stated that the APGA candidate has experience in the banking industry and therefore has the exposure and network to attract investors to the state.

Also speaking during the reception, host Josephine Nwaeze described Otti's candidacy as the light of God finally beaming on the people of the state for success and prosperity.

She said that women in the area had resolved to support Otti during the election and urged Otti not to forget them when he becomes governor.
