Even at the risk of being politically incorrect, the late Ezeazu stood firm in his support of Abuja natives struggle to emancipate themselves from the draconian laws and kangaroo administrative systems foisted on them by past military governments which unfortunately continues to operate in the present democratic dispensation, said OIDA Media Adviser, Sumner Shagari Sambo.

President of OIDA, Danladi Jeji, also paid tribute.

Ezeazu was a disciplined and diligent Nigerian who worked for the good of the commonwealth of Nigeria while ensuring justice and fairplay for all peoples. We will surely miss his contributions toward our struggle for an efficient constitutional amendment by the National Assembly that will capture all the aspirations and struggles of Abuja natives, said Jeji.

OIDA officials commiserated with Ezeazu's family, the civil society community and all Nigerians.

Ezeazu, who was in his late 50s, died earlier this week. He battled a kidney ailment.
