Abuja - The Director-General for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Brigadier-General Johnson Olawumi has ensured the safety of corps members who will be working as adhoc staff during today's election.
In addition, Olawumi has also revealed that just over 168,000 corps will be deployed across the country, a number that has dropped from 240,000 since the exercise was declared voluntary.

Olawumi has disclosed that adequate security measures have been put in place to ensure safety during the polls and has also assured skeptics that the corps have been sensitised to against any electoral fraud that may occur during this period.
