Abuja - The People's Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Lagos State, Jimi Agbaje, has appealed to non-indigenes to ignore threats of violence if they voted for him.
The Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, reportedly made the threats.
The PDP candidate, in his reaction to the said death threats, said he had faced the same threat in the course of his campaign.

“I'm aware of the intimidation that a lot of you might be facing as we head into the final stretch of this election campaign," Agbaje said.
He encouraged the non-indigenes to confront the situation through the ballot.
“I would like to take this time to encourage you all not to respond to intimidation with violence but rather confront it with the collective power of your votes,” he said.
