Aggrieved PDP members burn down Jonathan’s campaign office

Jos - Aggrieved members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in  Kanke local government area of Plateau State have burnt down the party secretariat and set ablaze posters of President Goodluck Jonathan and the party’s governorship candidate, Senator GNS Pwajok, reports NewsDay.

The burnt secretariat is said to be President Jonathan’ and Senator Pwajok campaign headquarters in the local government.

The angry mob were protesting against the emergence of Pwajok as the party’s governorship candidate in the February 28 governorship election.

The aggrieved members accused the leadership of the party in the state of imposing Pwajok on them.
