Aggrieved Rivers APC supporters demand fresh election

Port Harcourt - Supporters of the All Progressives Congress protested and blocked roads in Port Harcourt, demanding there be a re-election as they were unhappy with the conduct of the presidential elections.

Some angry youths marched to the Independent National Electoral Commission headquarters in Aba Road wanting to interact with the Governor Rotimi Amaechi.

There is heavy security at the INEC offices and some armed are patrolling the roads leading the building.

The youths demand the only to stop them from protesting is if INEC conducts another election as many people were no able to vote at polling units in Rivers.

Some of them raised an alarm that People's Democratic Party candidate, Nyesom Wike, was being smuggled out of the INEC offices.
