Port Harcourt - Gov Rotimi Ameachi of Rivers State has alleged that the First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan receives the sum of $1m ((N199m) monthly from the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, Nyesom Wike, reports Punch.
Amaechi, who is also the Director-General of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign, said Wike was giving the money to the First Lady in order to gain political favour.

Amaechi disclosed this on Saturday while speaking at Isiokpo, headquarters of Ikwerre local government area of the state, during a special praise and worship session organised by the Ikwerre Youth Movement (IYM) and the Ikwerre Women Forum (IWF).
He accused Wike of sponsoring the killing of an APC member who was shot dead recently in Wike's home town.
