Abuja - Several outgoing governors have indicated that they would not be attending the inauguration of their successors on May 29, reports Punch.
While some of the governors have travelled out of the country few days to the event, the others have vowed not to attend the ceremony.
Governors Sule Lamido and Ibrahim of Shema of Jigawa and Katsina States respectively are presently outside the country on vacation.

Rather than attend the swearing in ceremony of Nyesom Wike as the new governor of Rivers State, Gov. Rotimi Amaechi has opted to be at the inauguration of the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja.
Gov. Jonah Jang has also said he would not be present at the inauguration of his successor, Simon Lalong on Friday.
