Abuja - Gov. Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State has accused the First Lady, Patience Jonathan of fueling his quarrels with President Goodluck Jonathan and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), reports Leadership.
He said Jonathan gave his wife excessive powers meant only for the President alone.
Amaechi stated that President Jonathan made the Police, Military and other security agencies to be reporting to his wife.

The governor, who was speaking after the premiere of a documentary on Amaechi years at the Silver Bird Galleria, Abuja on Sunday, noted that he took a stand against this unconstitutional conduct of the First Lady because he believed such conduct would not help in the development of the country.
He said the President and the PDP would have moved against him, if they had anything incriminating against him.
