Amaechi blames Patience Jonathan for Okirika rally shootings

Port Harcourt - Gov. Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State has accused the First Lady, Patience Jonathan, of orchestrating the attack on members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress in Okrika, Rivers State, on Tuesday, reports Punch.

He noted that the First Lady and the governorship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party in Rivers, Nyesom Wike organised thugs to disrupt the APC governorship rally in the town.

Amaechi, who was speaking after an enlarged APC leaders’ meeting at the Shehu Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja, stated that several persons sustained injuries including Charles Eruka of Channels Television, who was stabbed.

He expressed disappointment over the law enforcement agents’ failure to ensure a hitch free campaign for the APC.

Patience Jonathan is a native of Okrika.
