Port Harcout - Governor Rotimi Ameachi of Rivers State has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct an impartial and transparent elections in the state, reports Premium Times.
Amaechi stated when the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in the state led a team of top INEC officials on a courtesy visit to Government House, Port Harcourt.

He noted that Nigerians should be allowed to legitimately choose credible leaders in the forthcoming elections.
He added that Nigerians are yearning for good leadership that would address the lingering hunger and poverty in the country.
