Abuja - The All Progressive Party is seeking to join an anti-PVC law suit as a defendant, as the law seeks to make people not use their Permanent Voter Cards and card readers in the upcoming elections, Punch reported.

The suit was originally filed by the Society of Advancement and Protection of Public Rights as the group suggested to the Independent National Electoral Commission that PVC's and card readers would prevent many people from casting their votes.

The group also argued that INEC had not tested PVC's and how effective they are.

APC in the meantime, joined the suit as they see do not agree with the group and want to impose the whole idea.

The political party states the group is not a registered voter and is jeopardising the use of the PVC system. The non use of PVC's would rig the elections.
