Abuja - Hundreds of Arewa leaders on Sunday said that they rejected hundreds of thousands of dollars from President Goodluck Jonathan when he visited the state two weeks ago, PUNCH reports.
Speaking during the reception of Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso in Lagos, the leaders distanced themselves from any endorsement of Jonathan, saying those that did offer Jonathan support are frauds.

The group claims that a select few individuals visited Jonathan at the State House and posed as emirs in an effort to deceive the President and gain monetary rewards.
In addition, Arewa Community Chairman Alhaji Sani Kabiru has promised to get All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari one million votes along with support for APC state governorship candidate Akinwunmi Ambode.
