Yenogoa - The cold war between Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State and the First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan on Monday deepens, as the governor sacked two of his female appointees who are believed to be the First Lady’s loyalists, reports Punch.
The affected allies are Marie Ebikake, the Commissioner for Local Government and Remi Kuku, the Special Adviser on Federal Government Projects.Also read: Bayelsa lawmakers align with Patience Jonathan against Dickson
Though the government did not give any reason for their sack, it is believed that they were sack because of their closeness to the First Lady.
Dickson is at loggerheads with the First Lady over plans to replace him with one of her loyalists in 2016.
