Abeokuta - Rumours of a bomb blast nearly disrupted the scheduled visit of the First Lady, Patience Jonathan, to Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital on Tuesday, reports Premium Times.
Patience Jonathan was expected to address supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party in continuation of her campaign for the re-election of her husband.
The First Lady could, however, not make the trip but was represented at the rally by the wife of the Vice President, Aminat Sambo.
The programme was on-going when suddenly a rumour of possible bomb blast caused many of the party’s supporters to leave the venue in fear.
