Abuja - Members of the People's Democratic Party
(PDP) in Borno State have been advised to put aside their differences
and work for the success of the party during the forthcoming general
The Zonal Chairman of the party in Borno Central senatorial
district, Alhaji Umar Mustapha Kaleri, appealed to members to respect
the ruling of the Abuja High Court, which affirmed the successful
emergence of Gambo Lawan as the Borno State governorship candidate.

"We also call on the good people of the state to remain
focus and support the PDP to bring about the much needed change in our
dear state given the shackles of insurgency and bad governance that has
resulted in Multi dimensional poverty in all segment of our lives, Kaleri said
He added that the party in the state is one indivisible entity of committed, tested, trusted and experienced party men and
women with common vision.

state has become one indivisible entity of committed, tested, trusted
and experienced party men and women of common vision and
transformational programmes, this is simple to say that nothing like old and
new PDP exist rather one strong united PDP and urge non-PDP members
who engaged in circulating rumours and falsehood about the PDP, her
candidate, plans and programmes, he said.
