Borno politicians must properly park branded vehicles

Abuja - The Army has warned politicians and their parties in the troubled Borno State to desist from parking their campaign vehicles at undesignated places.

The military through a statement by the 7 Division of the Nigerian Army in Maiduguri stated that any such vehicles seen parked otherwise would be treated as constituting a security risk.

"The Headquarters 7 Division of the Nigerian Army wish to appeal to politicians in the state to please park their marked campaign vehicle in their respective political parties offices only," the statement the spokesman of the Division, Col. Tukur Gusau, signed on Monday, read.
