Buhari denies US medical trip

Abuja - Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari has denied reports that he has prostate cancer and was thus embarking on a United States trip for that sake, reports Punch.

Buhari who spoke to journalists on Sunday, said there is no element of truth in the report which alleged that he jetted out of the country for medical check-up.

He expressed his anger on what he called the desperate attempt by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to spread misinformation in the country.

He noted that he had cold during the course of the campaign and not cancer as rumoured.

He urged politicians to forget issues about his health status, but rather discuss issues about the welfare and well-being of Nigerians.
