Abuja - President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari will receive his handover notes from outgoing President Goodluck Jonathan on May 28, it was announced.

Buhari will also be conducted round the Presidential Villa in Abuja, alongside the Vice Presidential-elect, Yemi Osibajo by Jonathan on the same day.
Parts of the transition programme was approved at a meeting of the Council of State presided over by President Goodluck Jonathan.
Jonathan has been widely hailed for the peaceful manner in which he has accepted defeat in the Presidential Election and for the handing over of presidential duties.
