Abuja - The presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress, Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday addressed the Royal Institute of International Affairs at Chatham House in London.

He spoke on the topic “Prospects for Democratic Consolidation in Africa: Nigeria’s Transition”.

He highlighted his plans for the country if he is elected President in the March 28 presidential election.

He said the fight against corruption and wastage in government would be pursued vigorously, noting that funds saved from these leakages would be channeled to other productive areas.

He clarified issues surrounding his health status, saying he has been certified fit  by his doctors to run for the presidency.

The event was chaired Sir Richard Gozney former, British High Commissioner to Nigeria between 2004 and 2007.

Outside the venue, a small group of protesters carried placards to register their displeasure with Buhari.
